What's the chances of me getting from aberdeen to the glenfiddich distillery tomorrow?

I have friends here from Norway who really want to visit a distillery. I fancied the run to dufftown but is it bad with snow up there? I heard one road is blocked?

I have an x5 so doesnt need to be perfect.

If not glenfiddich can anyone suggest anywhere else to go?

Cheers

I think you should be fine, I just did the infamous Tomintoul to Cockbridge this afternoon and it was no problem.
There's plenty snow at the sides of the roads, but the roads themselves are fairly clear.
Go for it, no problem.

Made it no prob smile

Roads were clear and dry. Sun out and loads of snow in fields made it look pretty cool smile

I believe the road from Rhynie-Dufftown is closed again. It's been open for a grand total of 4 days since the 18th december laugh

Awesome road by the way. Well worth taking the scenic route.

I drive a snowplough on the Duftown Rhynie road and it is open but very narrow but if you want to see some stunning scenery and red deer at close quarters take the Cabrach road from Alford.
Remember to stop at the Grouse Inn.
