Culter Fell

Anyone know what the conditions are like down that way? Planning to go up a few hills there tomorrow but was wondering what the single track roads will be like and how much snow is about??

Should be fine - we have heavy snow here about 20 miles away in West Lothian, but I am at 1000ft. You could always park up in Culter, it's not far to the hill.

We are at Biggar and it's sleety at the moment with nothing lying on the roads.
Culter Fell and surrounding hills looked fantastic earlier today.
If all else fails there is a good walk up the glen and then across to Lamington.

We have had about an inch of snow here in Linlithgow so far tonight but it is very wet and slushy. Good for a few power slides though. (on private ground)

WEATHER UPDATE.
There has been a covering of snow during the night but the roads are gritted and pretty clear.
The top of the Fell is shrouded in cloud at the moment and it is 0.5C outside with little or no wind.

Enjoy your walk today, been a few years since i've been up Coulter Fell - but nice walk. I'll be down in Lanark at the in-laws, so if you see me give me a wave. I'll be in the yellow quattro of course. Snowing heavy in Falkirk - great!!!!!

Great day out in the hills yesterday! Unfortunately my camera man didn't make it out so there is a severe lack of pictures. When we arrived in the morning there was lots of snow on the hills and paths but by the time we got back in the afternoon a lot of it had melted. We slid down plenty of it on our arses
