A friend of mine is having a stagger...Alternative style...

Story goes like this so far....

Sat Night - Drink Alcohol...
Turn on computer - e-bay
"for a laugh" bid on "Gold Luxo-Barge".... Ad states "Dashboard lights dont work"
End up purchasing a Gold 1995 Lexus LS400 V8, 330,000 Miles, no careful owners....
Realise car is in Hull! (Mate lives north of Aberdeen!)
Time is 00:30 AM Sat night...Email owner to say will leave at 7am - if no contact made before we pass glasgow...sale is off...but owner phones OK......Pick up Gold Luxo-Barge Drive home....Realisation sets in that entire dashboard is digital....and isnt working!(No Fuel gauge in 4 litre V8...)
22Hrs Later return to Aberdeen in Gold weapon of choice...

Book 4 persons + car on Ferry to Holland...Book 4 x single flights back from poland....

Plan for July...
4 up via ferry to the "Ring"....1 lap each....drive to Poland....3 days on the Lash in Krakow....Loose the barge (Somehow?!?!?!) Fly Back to Aberdeen...

I can see this being some trip....Possibility for things going wrong - Endless!

Well Guys - Thats us off tonight on this stupid plan....hahaha

We only have accomodation booked for the first 2 nights out of 8 nights total....Will be making a mini diary for this one if I stay sober enough!

Bonus is that 3 (out of 5 in on the trip) of us are now accidentally insured on the Stag's Lotus Elise as a result of the policy also covering the Lexus

Well folks, that's us at the ferry terminal in Newcastle...

Car making some unsavoury noises from the rear brakes, a quick check confirms the pads are collapsing, after much laughter, we decided to press on sighting ... "It'll be fine!"...

Boosting the car round the ring may not be on the cards unless we can fix the brakes. Ring taxi will be booked tho

Anyone know if we need to book a ring taxi in Advance?
