Glasgow to Plockton driving condition?

I'm heading to Plockton next week from Glasgow (via the A82) for a little break.

Will my golf make it? I can arrange to have something a bit more capable (1.4 TSi is murder just getting up my drive in the snow) but if the roads are generally good i'll be fine.

I don't think you'll have any problems, just be sensible and make sure your prepared should you hit bad weather. Its worth keeping an eye on http://www.trafficscotland.org/lev/ which will give you a good indication of conditions.

thanks all - i'll have the M&FIL in the car so won't get to enjoy the drive as much as i'd have hoped.

been to Plockton a couple of times before and thoroughly enjoyed it.
