I've wangled a day off work tomorrow and am thinking of heading up to the slopes for a day (from Edinburgh). I realise conditions arent quite what they were generally, but I'm struggling to decide where is likely to be best tomorrow from the various webcams.

Has anyone been up today or know what conditions are meant to be like?! Cheers in advance

I didn't make it on the weekend just past, but I was at Glenshee the week before. Glas Maol was great but the rest of the area was getting thin in places, and will only be worse now. I'd be heading to Cairngorm persinally, even though the uplift is a bit 'challenged'.

Check out http://www.winterhighland.info/forum/list.php?2 and see what folks are saying on there....

Hmm - rain, snow, hail, wind....back to good old Scottish skiing! I really want to go, but just can't decide if it's going to be worth it!

Damn you Iain - Ronan is already wavering, having already admitted that his E30 wouldn't make it....

Although worth it for the drive alone really.

Looks like we'll be headin for the Cairngorms. Iain said the car park is always safe (not covered in ice) still think best to take the impreza!

Glenshee today, from the summit of Glas Maol.

some runs on the eastside of the glen are a bit thin in places and the west side of the glen is very bare, but with more snow falling now and shed loads forecast over the next couple of days should give some decent skiing well into April
