I see the Classic Car Club in Corstorphine (Edinburgh) are having another open weekend next weekend, might just pop in on Sunday for a lookey, since they are just along the road from me.

Have been toying with the idea of joining, but the insurance excesses are a wee bit nippy!

£250 per year cuts them all in half. Anyway, just don't crash em and it isn't a problem. We budget on one crash a year, and have been steady at that for the last 8 years so it isn't common, especially when we average 10-15 "hires" a week.

We'll be open till 5.30pm both days and will have a special offer or two - when I've worked out what it will be!
Matt
ps. DB9 arriving tomorrow!!

Hi Matt, thinking of rejoining. How much is a country membership? Eventually bought a HSV Monaro 6.0. Still got the 3.0 Omega I used to run daily! Two baby daughters meant "playing cars" took a backseat for a while. Getting out a bit more now! Cheers, Roger.

It's now £2k+vat, but that does get you a DB9, 550 Maranello and 911 Turbo. Give me a buzz if you want to chat about it,
