I'm going up to Inverness tomorrow with the family.
Just going for the night and coming home on Saturday afternoon.
Haven't been up there much in the past few years and was just wanting to ask if there is anything interesting on or any interesting places to go visit?
Also, my mum wants to go shopping, are there any decent sports shops?
And are there any model shops? As I like collecting model vehicles and there ain't really any model shops in Aberdeen.
Thanks, Andy.

The best sports shop is DW sports out at the retail park beside tesco. You should pass it on your way into Inverness if you're on the A96.Other than that there's a sports direct in the town centre.Plenty shops in the Eastgate centre to walk round too.
There used to be a model shop in the market in town but i have a feeling it's closed down now.Been a while since i've been in there!
Where are you staying?

just staying the night in a travel lodge. And back to Aberdeen tomorrow.
The model shop - http://www.invernessmodelshop.com/ is on Grant street, and plenty of shops in the town centre, we usually head in to the Eastgate for parking, you can even get a car wash in the car park now
