What garage in east end of Glasgow would an overfinch be in?

Unless I missed something, it doesn't say the garage was in the East End of Glasgow.

I would guess a car like that would be in a main dealership like Taggarts or Parks although £65K a week doesnpt go far these days so you never know.

Has anyone thought that the garage may have let someone take the car with consent?

When I had an issue with my old C-Class MB in Glasgow said that if a car suffers an intermittant problem, sometimes it can be hard to diagnose/doesn't show up on a short test run so they let a technician drive it home and use it for a day or so to see if the fault appears, all with the owners prior consent.

I didn't take them up the offer but I can see where it might be useful, but the papers will find sensation in anything, especially the Daily Record who love a good factually incorrect story!

Why let facts get in way of a good story!
