Hi Guys!

I know i havent been very active for very long, but i'd just like to inform you that there is going to be a car wash in bridge of don, organized by the Scouts to fund an outing. I have volunteered to market and advertise the day.

It would be really good if we could get some interest, i would post more information if i generate enough interest.

Please be kind as this is taking the personal time of scout leaders and members to be out this day and wash cars.

Will be creating posters and fliers once i've got the exact dates and information... will post updates.

Anyone interested?

4 hours and no reply. i think however its because as much as it is a good cause. i only trust 1 person to clean my pride and joy. on here we are pretty anal about our cars.

unless of course the scouts are using the 2 bucket system a new sponge for every car and if its dropped on the ground even once the sponge gets binned and the water changed... whats ocd btw? biggrin

Apparently, my friend just said it's starting to fall from the sky...? I don't know whether that's true or not.

But yeah, don't have a car to take along but good luck with it if it's going to a good cause. smile

lol nah i'm not expecting anyone to be taking there TVR's BMW's ect there, just if you have a shopping car in need of a little tlc... there around 14-18 yr olds i think, so should be pretty clued up on what not to do.

I'll post more on it once i get more info myself. i just volunteered to do posters and try to promote it a bit. smile

The last washing gone wrong story I read on here was about a 15 year old taking a scouring pad to a 360 to get some bird poo off. Please make sure they know what they're doing before they start, don't assume anything smile

Lol there will be quite a few adults who do like cars supervising, so nothing stupid should go wrong. I may possibly be getting my car washed, was suppose to be for free but i'll feel bad now as i haven't really generated much interest, but i may watch to make sure they do a good job before they touch it! biggrin

I think you've omitted the location ... which could prove a problem if you really want people to turn up. nuts

Thanks Guys! They really do need all the help they can get! BTW have you seen any posters ect around the BoD area? They should have already been put up...

I'll probably venture down there after lunch...

Remember to spread the word! Price for the wash is £3-5 depending on car... Standfree - you can get your dad to take your lil fiesta down for a quick was! would probably only be £3 wink £3 for small cars and £5 for big! biggrin I'll look forward to seeing you all there! biggrin
