Fires in Aberdeen

Was coming home from Pittodrie this afternoon.
Just at the mouth of the don there was the long grass at the side of the water on fire. A fairly small fire at the time but don't know if it's been put out or if it got worse?
Don't want to sound mad or anything but would it be because of the warmth today?
There was nobody about, like no youths or anything.
ETA: was just the grass on the small like island.
