I went to my garage today to have a look at the brakes on the Camaro and maybe replace the pads... and what have I noticed???? That the little chrome dust valve cap from my brand new chrome wheel is missing. I thought: must have lost it when inflating the tyres on Saturday... But then, I cannot believe my eyes!!! All of them are missing!!! On all four wheels. Fucensoreding, thieving scumbags. I definately had them on on Staurday evening, and since then I only left the car in Tesco (for 15 mins) and parked on my driveway... I'm fecking furious!!! I know its not expensive stuff but.....

So just be careful out there guys, and think where you leaving your car...

What, park outside Kenny Dunn's???confused

Stackofire, I've had them nicked a couple of times and now use the locking ones, but they are a pain with their little Allen screws.

errrrrr no, alpina s Dont have valves on the rims,(unless they are fakes) they are behind the centre caps!! thus if you buy a genuine alpina no one will nick your valve caps!!

Ah, I get it now too. That is a lovely BMW though - haven't see a 6-series with Alpina alloys before, stunning IMO.

I just struggle along with boring black plastic valve cap covers and have never had a problem. Am I missing a trick?

the valve is behind the centre cap, one of the spokes is hollow to allow air it get from the centre to the rim, Turn the slotted "key" presto, the cover comes off to show 5 bolts and tire pressure valve smile
