DAB signal in Abedeenshire ??
Discussion
The Focus RS is the first car I've owned with a DAB radio. Anywhere south of Inverurie the clarity of sound it's spot on, as soon as I head north from their it's very intermittent and varied from staton to station. I thought DAB was supposed to be a fullproof way of receving your chosen radio station ?
I now have a new HiFi system in the house that has DAB+ again this is varied from station to station. Radio 2 is fine but if I want to listen to PlanetRock I've got to go out to the garage and sit in the car where the signal fine ?
I know there is not much I can do about the car.
But regarding the DAB in the house, is there any point in conecting this to one of the various old TV ariels I have in my loft??
Your thoughts please.

my folks have the same problem Ian, Father built an aeriel for it and its been perfect ever since. He is a Radio Ham though, i will see if he has an "designs" that would work, should be fairly easy.
On the car note, a pal of my fathers had a new rangey when they were launched, whcih came with DAB. Past Perth they only got Radio Gael for the whole holiday. The mast nearest where you and i stay is being upgraded in September so we can finally get freeview as well. I think you might just tag to the same mast.
