Any restored classic coming up for sale in Scotland ?
Discussion
Might be on the market to purchase a restored classic shortly - looking at TVR / Triumph / Sprite / MGB / Midget models and prefer buying 'locally' in Scotland ..
In the world of classic cars some guys get satisfaction from restoring cars then selling them on for their next project , others like me take a pride in maintaining the standard and being the proud current keeper of the car.
Any cars out there nearing restoration completion that might come up for sale shortly ? ( or cars that have been previously restored recently...)
Thanks
Brian

My late father owned a 1979 MG B roadster that we're considering selling - me taking it over is another option. It's been completely reshelled very recently and is absolutely immaculate - however, my dad 'customised' it to his taste, so it has a grey leather non standard interior and non standard alloys from the MGOC (they're too modern for the car imo). It's also a rubber bumper version in inca yellow, neither of which are to everyone's taste. It's got a rebuilt standard engine (his old one was fast road but he died before he got round to putting in the K series he was considering).
Currently down near Kelso - he used to use it as a daily summer driver from home to Dalkeith, so the drivetrain and suspension aren't seized up like some of the dry weekend only cars you see. Let me know if it suits you.
