Ever Expanding Edinthings

Not only have we added Edintapas to our repetoire bit we've grown a facebook group!

Do we want the next Edintapas on Thursday 13th May or on a Satuday?

Edinlushes on the 20th?

Just a quick thought from me, and others may think its a bit lame or maybe even an almost good idea, but, why dont we make the edinlush the same thursday each month, ie, the 1st/2nd/3rd/4th thursday of each month, so meaning we all know when its going to be and no more votes/polls and for anyone booking anything this will mean they will always know when each one will be. Please dont shoot me if you dont think its a good idea.

Other adhoc edinlushes/things would and could be arranged on an as and when basis.

I am up for the next Edintapas and am ok with either days, hopefully a job will present itself by then too.

Are we also going to try and arrange an EdinBBQ, either a small one in someones garden, or a larger one (maybe with a small run too) at somewhere like the Dalkeith country park.

In a couple of days and there should be lots of planes/helicopters needing sand taken out of engines.

I also hear that Saturdays are vastly over rated. Thursdays on the other hand are like the new Saturday night from what I hear.

Sadly Sunday is El Bar's Sunday - they're shut.

Thursdays have the advantage of being a bit quieter but a midnight close, Saturdays are 'til one but liable to be quite crowded.

Indulgent Saturday evenings and Sunday runs might not be the best mix either...

Edinlushes tends to end up on the third Thursday, so megy's idea of a regular slot makes a deal of sense - any objections?

I agree that Thursday is a good time to go out, but it will be difficult for me to get to anything that happens on a Thursday from now on. So it'd be good to have at least one weekend outing or I might not see some of you for ages
