Moving an engine Edinburgh to Reading

Hi

I need to get an 4cly engine (head off of block and packed separate) but due to work commitments I can't get it on a pallet and get it uplifted 9-5.

Any body ever drive that way or have contact who could collect it in the evening and drop it off during business hours. I have thought of shiply bur want to sort it by the end of the week.

Can you not just take it as hand luggage hen you are next heading to the big smoke!!

Can it not be couriered?
