I wanting to fit a Paxton supercharger system to my car soon. However, I'm not sure who to approach to fit it. Any recommendations for garages (or individuals) to do this work? The car's a 1996 Dodge Viper RT/10. Cheers

I know it's a different engine and supercharger, but it may be worth speaking with this guy.

And I've heard folks think I'm a censored but who ya gonna believe.....rofl

Aaahhh wait a min, don't answer that. wink

Seriously, it really depends what you think is pricey. Last year had the old dears Pug 307 in for it's first service and I was shocked when I saw what she was paying an hour!

It would certainly not harm to ask for a quote.

My opinion, for what it's worth, buy cheap, pay dear..... If it was me, i'd be looking for reputation rather than price for a job like that, but that's just me......

Hope it works out well for you though ViperScot, would love to see/hear that blasting past my house!

But I'm not wanting to pay a high premium for someone who's hot an expert in doing this sort of work. Fitting a supercharger and the associated tuning is not something that should be taken lightly and I'm yet to be convinced that Dreadnaught have the necessary experience, particularly on a Viper.

That's understandable. Have you checked any Viper Forums? If in doubt find someone else who's had it done and find out where.

Hi Hamish, I think you will be searching for a long time to find someone in the Uk with "necessary experience, particularly on a Viper." I would say that Nad is the only one that has that sort of experience

Fitting the supercharger wouldn't be that big a problem, the Viper is quite a easy car to work on. There is a tuner down south, not sure of his name, but has tuned a few modded vipers. Ask on the viper forum

Hi Colin. Yeah, I know Nad could do it blindfolded but don't want to hassle her with extra work that I know she's not got time for right now. Well, not yet anyway! I was hoping that there might be someone with some experience in Scotland with US 'hotrods' that could turn their hand to a Viper! I know I can find that if I look down in England but I wanted to see if there was something closer to home first, hence the post here. Cheers to all for their advice though.

I think I've found someone who will take on the job who has some Viper and supercharger experience (although not together)!!
