Like the title says, I found a belter of a road yesterday up past piperdam. Believe it was the A93 ? Anyone else discovered this road ? Next PH run we go on should involve this !!

The other road there - the one you stay on in Birkhill instead of turning left for Piper Dam - is pretty good too.

i followed a skyline over that road in the battle bus last month. good its good. a very lump section up the spittal of Glenshee, but that is just the tip of the iceberg for good roads.

got to say, keep it on the edge of caution there, as someone who used to drive those regularly there are a lot of tourists who ge the side of the road wrong, bikes taking wide lines and the biggest worry is wildlife, wait till a deer/stag does that hesitant stutter as your approaching...

The B954. Great road. Camera van pops up on the long straight from time to time.

Nowhere near the A93 mind you OP.

Been up this road quite a few times going boarding at Glenshee or heading up the hills.

Nice video...i see your driving hasn't improved any from the last Stirling run??? Was this video made abroad somewhere...you seem to spend a lot of time on the right hand side of the road. Could be described as a racing line. Car still nice though.

That's the A93, about 5 miles north (approx) of the Bridge of Cally Hotel, and about a mile or so past the turn off to Kirkmicheal, heading up to Lair and Dalnagar Castle onwards to Glenshee.

If you are brave enough, and don't mind dodging tractors and the occasional sheep (no fences!!) then the B951 down to Kirriemuir is a pleasant run, but very narrow.......More bike country to be honest!!

Speaking as somebody who has had the dubious pleasure of going over the bars of a motorbike after hitting a sheep I think thats a bit of a contradiction eek

Haha sadly my car is suffering some damage from the last run , clutch and brakes and tyres so this vid is a bit slower lol

racing line ? ........ Erm ...... That's it there was lots of baby hedgehogs all the way along the left side of the road so was avoiding them wink
