the entrance & spaces of the new shopping mall in Aberdeen??

Planning on coming through a day early for Speedfest to have a nosy at the shops and I am trying to decide what car to take. frown I know I have problems in certain car parks and prefer bigger spaces to avoid door dings.

Help appreciated.

Spaces are just the same size as your usual asda/tesco sized spaces. If you go a few stories higher where it is a bit quieter then you could probably get two spaces in a corner somewhere, although, with it being a Saturday it will be mega-busy.

I would suggest parking at the College Street (it has been renamed under the "Union Square" franchise) carpark, just up from the train station. you just walk through the station and it takes you directly into the Union Square shoppng centre. It's usually a bit quieter and has single spaces on the left handside of each ramp as you get to the top of it, so you won't risk getting any door dings as nothing can park next to you, although, actually getting into the space can sometimes be akward.

By the way, the new shopping centre is crap so if you haven't been, don't come with much expectations.

I begrudge car parks to mate. Truck is too bloody long and a bit wide for them. Always results in the rear wheels and arse end overhanging the parking space.

Odd, I can get the old mans Omega into both Union Square and College Street. College Street is a bit tight due to the crap angle of the up ramps, but otherwise no real problems

I can get in teh spaces but I can't really open teh doors as they a quite long. I means that I have to always look round for a spot where I can open the door and I normally have to drive out to let the OH in or out.
