Speedfest at Alford warning!

Hey guys
am going up to the event tomorrow with some friends and taking up the Countach. A couple of weeks ago was on a Ferrari run to Balmoral. One of the guys on the run who is well connected with the Police advised that the police are having a major crackdown on speed on the A90 due to recent accidents which sadly resulted in deaths.
Just passing on the warning.
I appreciate if your driving a WRX you may be able to argue it was a big boy who did it in another WRX and drove away. Bit more difficult in the Countach!!
Will be keeping my road angel on and trying very hard to keep to speed limits! Difficult when a blip of the throttle can push you over!

Okay, I'll tell my dad who will be driving up from Aberdeen, they might have mobile speed cameras as you come out of Whitehouse, on the stretch to Alford. Dad got caught there 2 years ago.

What time does the show start?

I'll be in Alford around 9ish.

thanks for the heads up paul, il be up in the mornign wouldnt mind a nosy round your car. iv just spent 4 hours cleaning the car at least an hour on the wheels (even went inside to get by bloody toothbrush!!) i only live 10 miles from alford and il be driving slow so as little braking as possible to keep the dust down.
