Ring Trip - May 2010

Supercar is just a tag for overly priced pieces of metal with fancy names, they dont get you round a racetrack fast if you dont have the knowledge to back up the power so if you are a novice to the nurburgring then a small hothatch will do you more justice & will give u a bigger smile when you pass something thats 50x the price of yours

It was the best holiday I've had. Although, I wasn't a fan of the "Just married sign" on the back of the bloody car, you bds!

I have just re-read this (again). It is quite simply brilliant. 8 of us left Aberdeen last weekend in 4 cars and went to Croft for the RS Track weekend. Whilst not an epic tale like yours, I can relate to many aspects. Your summary is spot on. A bunch of car loving guys on a road trip, the group getting split on the motorways, re-grouping, the banter, the track time, the beer time, the anticlimax of the drive home and generally the whole mates with a common interest on a jovial weekend away.

Brilliant.

P.S....That same blonde in the mini was at Croft too....
