Which estate agent?

Hi guys,

selling my house in Falkirk and wondered if there is a preferred choice of estate agent?

Are some better than others?

pro's and con's

xtreme1 on here, his missus has an estate agency in Larbert.

I can't give any recommendation from recent experience since it's 20 odd years since I last bought a house. (thank goodness).

TBH any angent who gets you on the main national sites (e.g. rightmove) should be OK. We're on with Right Move and they've been OK, nothing spectacular...

You guys were selling at the same time as us last time you moved too - that's how I spotted the Trophy circling my street around 4 years ago

Found Clyde good and would recommend them to others.

Less positive experience with Relocate, and I know of others who've had a similarly poor experience with them.

If you've got a solicitor who's local I'd ask them for a recommendation too - most will deal with lots of Estate Agents on a regular basis making them well placed to offer an opinion on who's good.

Used Clyde in Bearsden, found them totally useless.
