Amnesty have lost support from me over all this anyway.
'We'll set up camp in industrial estates and parks, leave litter all over the place, leave big dogs wandering around business carparks, and look suprised when people aget pissed off.'
You'd imagine these folk would be thicker skinned. And Amnesty really have much better stuff to get on with than a bit of abuse towards a group of people who have chosen a disruptive lifestyle.
Have Amnesty tried asking these guys for donations? Being judgemental, the fairly new motor homes, pick ups and audis would show that they could manage 'just £5 a month' better than the students and such that the clipboards like to harrass in town.

They e costing us all a fortune. And do they care, not a jot. Don't know how many times they've been moved from Straitons park and ride at Loanhead. And they just go around in the night stealing stuff. Horrible I know but it is true. When spoken to by police, do they give the correct details. He'll no, do they hell.
Don't get me started. And now there is a massive camp at gypsy brae at Silverknowes Edinburgh. The locals r up in arms. But what can you do folks coz they r a law to themselves.

We have had a group with us in Stonehaven for over 2 months now, parked up in the same spot, hens running about, washing hanging out to dry, litter all over the place.
What part of being 'Travellers' do these guys not understand? Feck off and travel somewhere else.
And to top it off, the council provide them with a portaloo and wheelie bins!!! Who the 'ell is paying for that I wonder.
