Alarm fitter recomendations - Edinburgh

Need an insurance approved alarm putting in a car. I can install it myself easily, but i think i would then need someone to 'sign it off' in order to get the certifficate. Dont want to pay silly money as its a cheap car.

Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
Whatever you do don't use GAP Security. They are a cowboy outfit, as i found out. Unforunatly i can't recommend anyone though.

does a thatcham approved alarm not need to be fitted by an approved thatcham installer to get a certificate ?
