Hi guys, someone at my wife's work is looking for a cheap car. Around £500 - £1000 max. Reasonable cheap insurance and decent mpg, could be petrol or diesel - 4 x wheels and engine would be good as well!!

It will need to be somewhere fairly local to Falkirk/Bo'ness area. Cars that are ready to go with as much mot & tax, no project cars. Try and keep it to cars you know are good and not an oportunity to get rid of a rust bucket.

Post up or email me,
Thanks
Kenny.

Brilliant Paul, i was going to put on my post that flip's lotus was worth around £1k.

Shouldn't make fun of him as flip has put me on to a gem of a wee car with only 40k miles and 1 owner....and no it not his lotus.
The girl is going through to see the car, so could be problem solved in double quick time.

I've got a Vectra you're welcome to, as I'm needing rid of it and it may very well be scrapped soon.

No tax/MOT and has been sitting on my drive for a year. Will need a new battery.

Thanks for that, but i think the girl needs a car which is good to go with mot etc.

I think there is some damage from the weekend and its needing some work so £500 a bit optimistic hehe but if Flip gets them fixed first might kick the tyres laugh
