Well some of you might know I have a obsession with older Audi's , but have have been working away on a Ur RR for a while now, some major fixes with flywheel and full revamp of the fuel system and engine management , so had it out on the road for the first time yesterday and it was awesome ..A few niggly fixes still left but nothing a few weekends cant fix..Few pictures added ...hopefully have this out on one of the runs soon

Ah, magnolia mother of pearl.....my 90 quattro and 'Ur' S4 were the same colour. Nothing even comes close to that level of cool.

Very very nice - takes me back to my first ever car buying shortlist. If you need parts Lomond Audi have a near identical car up on a stand in their showroom - its down by the coffee shop so fairly quiet - just need a suitable distraction!

Steve......it's not an avant......what have you done!!!!

Looks good Steve, remember a guy used to go to our club in Glasgow mid to late eighties had a red one...it was stunning. Get it out to play soon. Your not far from me if you need some quattro company on a test run. You coming on Sunday, i sent you a msg.

Much as love Quattros (and anything that rallied in that era, particularly the 6R4 cloud9 ), I have to wonder how much the "cool" factor has been influenced by Ashes to Ashes.

Come to daddy...

To most of us, these have been as cool as liquid helium since day 1, they just have a bit of a wider audience
now. The Ur and Gene made a great partnership, both as cool as each other.

Yes your right Ian ..while I had it stripped thought it be silly not to
At the moment it is running 1.4bar boost , full stainless, no cats...MRC remapped ECU and pushing 270-280bhp..only down side is the brakes are not up to much with that power so have to address that pretty soon

It's keeping the bugger running though, parts were getting hard to come by even when I sold mine 3 years ago! Still miss the noise though...
