Brodie Castle on 8 Aug ..
Discussion
Anybody at Brodie Castle on Sunday 8 Aug for the Annual Historic Wheels Club event ?
Great turnout of vehicles , reckon about 300 historic / classic / specialist cars and bikes , and biggest crowd I've seen in years .
The quality & choice on show gets better every year
Well done to Darren McWhirter and his committee again - a lot of work would go into organising that events and keeping them going..
Disapointingly , I noted no TVRs ! It's time I got another one to 'fly the flag'....any TVRs for sale ..?
Regards
Brian

Just looked up your profile and noted your name was in the Brodie programme..
Was it you that had the Ferrari Testarossa - if so totally impressed , and noticed that your car was getting a lot of attention and admiring looks..
You had the car long ?
I'm into classics so favourite car of the day (as there was no TVRs in site) was probably the red 1962 Triumph TR4 owned by a R.Baxter of Inverurie - the car is 48 years of age and is absolutely in new showroom condition - just amazing.
Great day and nice to see the Tiger Moth doing the circuits..

You are correct Brian. I could'nt get near the car at one point, it was first time at Brodie and i shall return next year as the feed back i got was positive, i thought it may have been to new for the Historic Wheels but there were far younger cars in attendance! it's next apperance will be Hopetoun House next Sunday and then 26 Sept Roseisle, if your there then give me a shout
Yes i was there,i went in the XR3 behind a mate in his RS1600i.We couldn't get a late entry into the show itself so ended up parked on the grass right in front of the castle.
That Ferrari did look lovely, just had a quick look on the way to the ice cream van with the wee man.
I'll see if i can get some pics on when i get to the other computer.
