I had a shot on one of these a couple years back as a passenger\"cornering weight". My muscles and insides have never hurt as much, they can pull 4G cornering, unbelievable, was such a rush. I was only out on the water for 10 minutes, felt like I'd endured a 10 hour work-out the next day.

They must have got through it quicker yesterday. I was down on Saturday and it was really good actually. Not a huge amount of overtaking but each team had to do a 'pit lap' in every race which was basically an extension of the course. This caused a couple of close run finishes.
It was good to see ACC actually supporting something like this though. I live 2 minutes walk from the beach and I don't think I've ever gone down to watch an event of any sort. They should make more use of the beach!

Yeah the other half and I went down around 2, stayed until the end. He did add to the entertainment value and the music was generally good. Glad to hear him refusing to play any chart crap
It also helped that the weather was so good on Saturday!
I would have loved a shot out in the passenger seat like those 2 lucky guys.
