Yellow Lambo Diablo SV Motherwell area
Discussion
Hi
When I was driving through Motherwell yesterday about mid-day I saw a Yellow Diablo SV. Have seen some posting on Scotlands Finest Spotted about people spotting a yellow Countach. I know there isn't a real Yellow countach about in Scotland, nor England for that matter. Assume it is the same car people are referring to?
Does anyone know the owner? Is it a real or replica? Can't tell on a quick drive by. If it's real could someone put me in touch with the owner? Nice to know where the other big beasties live and to try to get them together from time to time.
Thanks
Paul

There used to be a yellow one in Newton Mortgage and the owner had something to do with sunbeds or suntan lotion as it was all branded up, not seen it in years though. I know there's 2 Gallardo's a black one and yellow one in Milngavie, and quite a few friends have spotted a black/ silver Veyron in Milngavie.

would it not be the same person who had one at the alford speed fest?
There wasnt a Diablo like this at speedfest. I had the QV there and knew the otehr cars. This is a very light yellow almost canary yellow. Not sure I have seen one that colou, but was a 2 second glance as we drove by one anotherPaul
I stand corrected about the yellow countachs! I have never seen one at any of the lambo events that I have been to in the past. Mind you people do tend to respray cars like this quite often! Pretty rare colours though
The car I saw was def a diablo SV. Whether it was real or a replica I dont know? I could only tell if I could look inside it or get very close and all i had was a 2 sec drive by on a busy road.
Easy way to tell is to look at the gear lever and see where first and reverse are
If I see it again will try and chat to owner. If people like or want replicas that is their choice and taste, not really mine but am always happy to chat about cars to anyone who has the same passion or interest

I've seen the yellow Diablo around the Cambusnethan area on occasion. I wasn't sure what model it was but it looked like it had silver tele-dial type alloys, so thought it may have been an older model?
The sunbed/tanning thing sounds like a fair point, as there must be one sunbed salon for every two girls in the Motherwell area
One of my friends was importing and distributing some fake tan lotion stuff so I can ask if he knows of the car for you.

I gather that was sold some time ago and the owner may still have their silver xj220. The above pic to me looks like a replica but it's hard to tell from my iphone. Amazing to think of the number of cars in collections that just don't get driven...I'm guessing there are quite a few out there and we just don't know it
