Any experiences of good folk that refurb alloys in or around Glasgow?

Preferably no more than 10-15 miles from the city and <£200 for a set of four?

For powdercoating, I'd recommend Chameleon, they did the wheels on my race Mini. Based Paisley-ish.

What size? Price relates to rim size.
I can recommend where is good and advise about where is not (IMHO) but sub 200 quid is a push for a good job. Is that the absolute driving factor?

That looks cheap - if they come recommended the worth a look.
They are doing a group buy through another site...

As I understand it they do the refurb work for Glasgow Audi.

In my case, as they were for the MINI, I specifically asked them to make the coating as thin as possible. Every little helps in the unsprung and rotational mass dept. They've stood up to rubbing wheels and having tyres on and off regularly.

17 inch wheels.

The issue is that if the job is much higher than £200(ish), then it's just as easy to source a set of used OEM wheels, than to pay the same (or more) for a refurb.

Have a look at

www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk

Glasgow South, well east Kilbride...

Not used but saw their work at Scottish Tuning Show, bit over budget at £55 per rim......... I plan to use them soonish.
