Haven't organised a run for a while. Andrew(mg) Thinking of 23rd Oct for a breakfast run. Possibly short finishing by Lunch and a few stop places to kick tyres and chat?

usual rules:

1. No .......guess?
2. Absolutely no.........
3. we do food
4. No crazy driving
5. Fastest anyone needs to or is expected to go is the speed limit
6. Slowest anyone is expected to go is above car in No1 speed
7. Can't think that far at this time of night!

Proposed route is Ayrshire! More details when Andrew and I get around to it!

Would make an effort to make 23rd but 24th would be a no brainer - any flexibility?

Yep 24th, the Sunday, would suit best.

I picked the Saturday as I can't do the Sunday and just wanted to get something setup. We could change the weekend but I was thinking that it would be good to get another morning run organised next month too. Thoughts??

For me personally I will move around to meet you guys as long as its the weekend but Sundays tend to be easier to clear domestically.

A run a month is optimal in my opinion so I will look into a full route for sometime in November on a weekend prior to the dinner if nobody objects, that should keep the banter up and we can still do a mini run on the dinner day if required.

Olberj - I'll send you my initial thoughts..

Runs after October have a habit of having very unpredictable weather.

Think we might be better of having the run on a different day from dinner, we saw how tired most folk looked by the time we got to the hotel on Sunday!

If i go drinking after that it could be dangerous biggrin

True today has seen monsoons and now Glasgow has perfect blue skies - that's Scotland for you - gotta love it.

Sunday is best to avoid domestic angst! Can't promise I'll keep to the speed limit and after following Paul down the Tweed at the weekend I'm not sure he can either! Oli

Lol
the rule is that anyone coming on the run has absolutely NO OBLIGATION OR NEED to exceed the speed limit. We are all going to the same place so whoever arrives when is of no consequence. Arranging a road race or in that regard inciting people to exceed the sped limits etc can be a criminal offence! Whilst Andrews hair cuts suggest he has done time, it is not in fact true! (honest)
Quite apart form that, we have to accommodate everyone or nearly everyone. As long as people drive above Nissan F******g speed I dont mind!
Anyway I was driving slowly to wave back to those sheep. Just to be polite of course!
