Hello,

Until now I've always bought my tyres on a drive in and drive out basis.

I'm now considering purchasing a set from Camskill as prices appear very reasonable and even with the additional cost of fitting, it could be more cost effective than local tyre suppliers.

I'd expect others have done likewise - purchase online and fit locally, but who should I entrust to fit my tyres? Ideally recommendations for Fife based tyre fitters.

Many Thanks

I used www.valuetyres.co.uk website to buy my last news tyres online really cheap and also arrange delivery and fitting at an approved Cupar tyre fitter near my work at a time that suits.
So you can just pop in when they have them in, and get them fitted with nothing to pay.
These type of websites like blackcircles, have a wide selection of garages to choose from to get them fitted, and you may be able to see previous customer feedback for some of them.

Philip, thanks for your suggestion.

I looked at Value Tyres website and priced the same make/size of tyres. Unfortunately they're £92 more expensive for a set of 4 tyres than camskill and that's without fitting.

Try Ronnie at wheelsaround in Perth, phone him find out next time he's at knockers, pitch up and he'll change them there for you. I'd be surprised if he doesn't supply the tyres at a favourable price. Buy off him, support our little motorsport guys.
Ps he's based in bridge of earn if you want to go to his place.

I used http://www.tyres-pneus-online.co.uk/ and they have an extensive list of local fitters and the best bit was they send them direct to them which certainly helps,

Alot of similar sites to valuetyres and blackcircles including pneusonline that another post menitons.
I've used Camskill in the past, but its just a bit more hassle for the delivery and taking them somewhere for fitting.
They are cheap though, and most places will only be about £10 a corner for fitting.

Hi,
I use Ladybank tyres, usually only a couple of pound dearer than the online dealers.
Any of the chains will fit tyres for you.

Another fan of Ladybank Tyres. Bought my winter tyres from them last year and they stored them for me over the summer months. I wont go anywhere else, used internet companies before and had shocking service from the tyre fitter's that they have been sent to. It amazes me how some places can't even get the tyre pressures right when there is a sticker on the door with all the info.
