Late Autumn Argyll Run - 21 November 2010
Discussion
Fellow PHers, in order to get a last long run before the winter sets in and to provide an opportunity for some banter generating mileage prior to the end of year dinner at Broomhall I am pulling together a route which takes in some diverse and pretty likely deserted roads around Argyll.
To adhere to the accepted standard..
The route has been designed with portions to suit all: some long straights some tight and windy bits and just about all of it with stunning scenery.

Route start is 20 miles from Glasgow 35 miles from Stirling and 65 miles form Edinburgh.
Route is a 155 miles round trip.
Route will be sent out to runners a week ahead.
I am making arrangements for a sit down lunch stop: menu details and cost to follow, but no up front costs. Couple of other stops at scenic bits with coffee or a can of coke.
All are welcome from countach to corsa!! attending the dinner or not.
Can't guarantee the weather - it's Scotland

I've got to keep that weekend loosely free for my mum - 1st anniversary of my dad's death. If she's fine, then I'm there and will join in as the route goes past Helensburgh somewhere.GLASGOW

A veritable pork-fest (with a classic Italian of course) leaving Glasgow! And not a yellow Audi in sight but then 6C4GTS did mention the prospect of more challenging driving at this time of year and this may preclude Kenny from taking off his slippers... 6C4GTS - 996 C4S

Baz can i go next to OJ ha ha.
Behind or in front?Last time i was behind it was only for a few miles and it was fairly busy. I think the old banana might just be a bit faster and handle a bit better than OJ expects. That might not be on par with his porker, but we will see.
I will of course video the evidence....and if it's in my favour...guess what will be getting played at the awards night. I'll also make sure OJ get one too. You would think that we both hate each other and have scores to settle!!
I don't mind you leading Kenny. It's just when we follow you we end up with a bit of a detour!!!!! (and it wasn't fair of you to blame your navigator either). Ah, the banter. Now any more high performance agriculture machinery out there that can line up with Kenny???? TeeHee...snigger. OJ
