Looking at getting a wood burning stove for my garage but it doesn't come with the associated chimney pipework. I am told that the two choices are basically stainless steel or black enamel.

But have also been told this is standard 5 inch pipework which is used with various commercial vehicle exhaust set ups?

Anyone got any recommendations on where to go for such pipework in the central belt that will be cheap? Any other wood burner stove fans out there that have sourced pipework elsewhere?

Cheers

I'm not sure where you're located, but i know of these guys in Edinburgh.

Worth a call, even if it's just for info.

Or Grahams Seafield rd, Edinburgh - is it a balanced flue? - ie one that goes out the back of the fire and through the wall, as oppossed to up a chimney?

Sorry live in Motherwell, work in Glasgow.

The stove will be going in my garage so it will be a case of a flue coming through the concrete panel and then up the outside of the garage.
