The misses and I have managed to off load the little un with Granny and Grandpa for the night. Were heading to Glasgow at the end of November for a couple of days christmas shopping. We are staying in the Novotel on a Friday night.

Looking for suggestions for evening meal(anything bar seafood, not posh)and a place for a couple of Shandies in the evening.

Over to you lot.

Butterfly & Pig on Bath St is great if you're planning on staying for a few drinks, well-priced great food (as you'd expect, the owner is Italian), cool surroundings, stylish but not uncomfortable trendy, head upstairs to the Buff club later if you're up for a long night, and if you don't like it there's plenty of other options nearby on Bath St you can wander on to.

The Corinthian Club has just opened up again and is absolutely lovely inside. Looks upmarket, but the food and drink is very reasonable. It's just round the back of George Square.

Do you remember the Still Game episode when the old gits had lunch there?
