Incident on the A1

had radio scotland on in the way into work this morning and heard the traffic announcer say the A1 is shut at Haddington for "23 miles for accident investigation"

thats a hell of an accident?

nothing on the bbc news website about it.

any locals know whats going on? in Aberdeen myself but just nosy!

A guy got murdered outside the Dolphin and his car got stolen. The car was then crashed and the guy got away the police were checking the surrounding area. (apparently)

I agree it's more than likely, and you're right, there seem to be a lot reported recently.

ETA the article has been updated and the word "murder" is now included so it looks like you were right all along!
