Stag Do in Edinburgh - Adventure places near by??

Hi all,

Got my stag do March next year. Edinburgh is one of the places we are looking at. Firstly, as I've never been there, any good? I realise I'll be spending the best part of the weekend off my face, wearing very little, but is it generally a good night??

Secondly, we fancy a bit of the white water rafting kind of activity for the day (it will keep us off the booze for an hour or so). I've seen these guys an hours drive away - http://www.naelimits.co.uk/ - any good?

Open to other ideas round the area.

For a stag do we went to the rock climbing place and did the high rope course. It certainally sobared us up for a bit -

They made sure the stag was well brusied for the big day.

Goape have a course 30 minutes out of Edinburgh near Linlithgow. The course would definitely sober you all up and you can get the train to Linlithgow and a cheap taxi up to the course if you are all still a bit too delicate to drive.

If it's not until march next year, then you could go karting at the brand new 5 star extreme karting centre being built at Newbridge, just along from Edinburgh airport.If you ask for Scott and mention ph, i'm sure he will look after you.
Nothing like a bit of competition to get the guys in the mood and loads of stories when your on the sauce.

Scott has already replied to your thread, but chose not to mention the karting. I would look into it as a possibility.

I know and it was appreciated. So what sort of discount would we all get for helping you to rubber in the track and help train the new marshals for a night at the new place?

I have seen the pictures on facebook and the stud work looks very good.
Yeah some time around the start of the year could work quite well for us all
