Hi guys,
I've recently bought myself a nice camera (Fujifilm Finepix S1730), and I've been looking for possible Photo Spots around the Glasgow area ...

Can anyone recommend anywhere nice?
Distance isn't so much of an issue as long as it's a nice drive on the way biggrin

A few come to mind...

Glasgow University (think you need permission from estates to get into the main campus.)

Down around the Science Centre/secc especially at night.

Some nice spots around Loch Lomond, Rowerdennan etc.

If you fancy one of a long drawn out view over the mountains and down the lochs, then have yourself a little venture out towards tighnabruich. Western Ferry over from Gourock (or drive up via Balloch and Tarbet if you've time for a proper play) and go up the mainly single track road up the Kyles of Bute. There's a car park at the top of the kyles which is just a stunning view, with space to get your car in too. Recommend lunch in the Kames hotel next to Tighnabruich.

Under the Kingston Bridge (north side) theres a huge mural on the wall, kind of a cool backdrop for photos, you need to mount the kerb (there's a dropped section) and drive along. Like this

I like the look of that actually!
I'm down that way tonight (albeit, not driving), but I'll keep my eyes open for it biggrin

I know alot of places with 'nice' graffiti too, so I'll probs hit those while I'm around!
