Ashame really, but the fact is it's a tough market with the internet now. Their stuff was all more expensive than online.
This sums up the dilemma which high street stores have today.I highlight a quote above, which is indicative of the mentality of the buying public these days.
Of course selling boxes is cheaper on the internet.......... but what many stores like Checkpoint offer, cannot be sold on the internet......... I need not spell it out....... everyone knows why we need stores.
Sadly, we are losing all our specialist outlets, and the high street will only be offices, banks and building societies.
........and when it's too late, we'll all get what we deserve.

Think times have moved on since the "Max Power" era with big installs etc. Bet they made a fortune in those times.
They used to do an awful lot more "discreet" high end installs in top end motors rather than the "max power" spl stuff, I had a number of refits of stuff when changing cars and they were always 1st class and won many awards for their demo vehicles, Kenny was the boy, shame for all concerned,Gary
Parking was a nightmare and as stated, it's so much easier to buy online, at your door the next day, no trips into Aberdeen which has the associated costs in fuel and more importantly in todays society - time!
I've used Autoparts in Inverurie, has everything you could need, parts, tools, cleaning products.......
