Scalectrix cars x2 Borrow or Buy

Hi,

We are setting up a scalectrix track for a bit of fun at our Christmas night this Saturday.
Johnyboy is kind enough to give us the track, but unfortunately a killer squirral broke into his loft and ate the cars!!!

The long and the short of it, we are going to need 2 cars for Saturday. Donated or lend to us for the night. People may be drinking slightly, so there is a possability of reckless driving.

I will look at buying cars tomorrow (having a back-up plan or more than 2 cars could be a wise move)

I hope your not supplying full size karts? Brill Scott cheers for that.
I am going to try and buy a couple of cars and that way i don't have an issue if there is any mishaps to the cars.

I'll let you know how things are going by Friday, but be prepared to dig out these cars.

McLaren Models in Grahams Road do them? Great to be a kid again eh!

Hi Kenny, i've got over 300 slot cars in my collection....mail me for any specific cars you would like to borrow ! I assume fully comp insurance in in place for damages :-), cheers, Alex

Do not give Kenny any cars that are precious to you, NO MATTER WHAT he promises.

Imagine 40 10-15stone kids fighting over them and that wont even come close to what your prize posessions will be put through

Cheers Alex, i bet you have a couple of 840's. A yellow Audi and a 911 would be great..better throw in a lotus for the ellise boys & gals!!

I appreciate the the offer, but probably wouldn't have the time to get my ass up to your bit. We only have 3rd party insurance, so there could be a risk factor there.

Cheers for this, but delivery for next day (but not guarenteed) was £9.99. Even ordering it on Wed night or Thur morning, it was a risk to get them delivered on time. Plus postage cost push the price up.

I'll try McLaren models Scott (I've never grown out of being a big kid yet). Also looking at a few on Ebay, which would mean collection on Saturday noon. One lot in Glasgow and one lot in Edinburgh. Might be asking a favour for someone to collect for me!!

Kenny - toysrus do scaletrix 2xfezza for about 25 notes from memory - look for the big Giraffe they're fecking everywhere - Livingston Outlet park for example.

That only leave me one to buy tomorrow.
Been cleaning up track for last few hours, hope it all works.
