Livingston appears to be shut so it's a snow day for me! Anyone else stuck at home?

Aye, I'm in Livingston as well, I'm watching a few brave Ranulph-Fiennes types trudging up the road, but seeing as work is 37 miles away, I'll be staying here as well!

Set off for work (bad idea) A1 is shutdown by the looks of it, so came back home and now stuck in the drive. Great.

I dug out the car last night and luckily my estate is quite level, so I could get out this morning...

Only about 1/3 of the team made it in.

Beat's the traditional method of measuring in inches. Look the snow is one and a quarter tubes of pringle's deep. I guess you the snow was too deep to get the tape measure out of the shed.

^^^ I'm an EK boy - don't live there anymore - but trust me, if it's snowed, you really don't want to even try to get there.

Haha true.

Been better, but still not right. Air getting into system still somehow and coolant level drops slightly every few weeks. Past caring though, just running it into the ground untill funds allow for something a bit "fruitier". Something with a V followed by a number in the engine bay.

I'm stuck at home too. Live in Blackridge near Harthill which as most people know, gets the worst of the weather. I work in Livingston, but after struggling in yesterday, the fresh snow at 4/5am this morning meant I couldn't get out of my street, never mind the village. I think 14 of our people have made it in, which means there's around 20 who haven't. Hopefully I can get in tomorrow, it's not much fun losing money, although safety always comes first.

I can see the approach to J5 of the M8 from here, traffic was at a standstill an hour ago when I took this photo.

On days like this I appreciate that I get to work from home biggrin Helped the neighbour clear the driveway mind, I don't need to go anywhere (and the Mondeo is useless) but they need the use of their cars.

I’m due to take the Porsche to Motortune in Shotts tomorrow morning for some work. Anyone know what it’s like out that way? I’m assuming much the same as Harthill, in which case I may need to phone and postpone.

I did a 180 to test conditions, then did a powered 720 to show off. bowtie
Full lock on right and planted the loud pedal, was great fun seeing snow fly across the windscreen.

Graham, the true method should be this, tongue out
