Been up and down from Edinburgh to Aberdeen a few times in this weather, it's bad. However, not as bad as the Traffic Scotland website which gives little to no fecking useful information on hold-ups or blackages on the roads. So, searching around I found this: www.traffic-update.co.uk It's ace. Zoom in on a road or area and there's regular updates on everything from roadworks to snow and jack-knifed lorries.

Have a look if you have some long journeys to make.

Other than it says 'there are currently 0 delays around Glasgow' laugh I beg to differ but I take your point. The radio information is so bad here its just not worth listening to.

The AA traffic website has been doing a good job over the past few days.

Here and search for Glasgow (or wherever). When it says zero mph, that road is blocked.

The AA site looks like it's got some good info on it, cheers. About to head off to Wales
which I thought would be OK looking at other sites but AA showing some 15mph sections
on A74 south and a omph at Canderside but think that's only Northbound. Only problem is
my colleague is coming from Fife and looks like that'll be tricky getting through M8 etc.
Planning to head off after lunch but I'll see if I can get out my street first!

Apparently the A74 is in the middle of the North Sea smile

Camera 46 on the trafficscotland website - Crowwood Rbt. 9.29am this morning and still visible now on camera: a blue/yellow Citilink coach perpedicular to the carriageway. Not good!
