I had often thought of putting this kind of thing together but my stress levels would rocket through the roof unless I had help.

I don't charge for my hoons (hope you all know how lucky you are!!;)) but I might change my mind seeing that price per person laugh

Sounds good but surely the DIY/organise it yourself option would work out cheaper. Plus got the advantage of local knowledge being up here!

Definitely reckon we could do our own one (maybe not 5 nights, but a weekend) cheaper and have a much better laugh !

Every Scottish run I've been on has been brilliant, with great company and cars...... Yip, we could do it better !

Sorry for the delayed response ( I was stuck in a hotel in Glasgow when this was out).

You might be right there guys, and girl, if we took a turn each and split the run. If someone done breakfast 'till lunch and then someone else done afternoon. Like JC said, maybe not 5 days, but a long weekend? I've only been on one run and will never forget it.

I mind a friend of mine planning something similar last year for a load of Fezza dudes but it never came off, think he was going for a 3 day event.

Quiet happy to bash brains together to sort something out, and yes very thankful of the help these days. Life ain't what it used to be when I had time to "mince" organising things when I was offshore. frown

I did the Apline Assuault from those guys in september, bloody brillaint, those guys know what they are doing.

Best bit is that you get top quailty radio's that allow people ahead of you to give your oncoming traffic info, lets you go into a concer with more balls hehehe.

Well worth it.

Have it that we could have on the runs everyone going about with

http://www.amazon.co.uk/TTI-TCB-550-Multi-Standard...

that would be fun.

Ave if we're hooning is april or may the norm?

I don't think the route is the most important, it is important, but as long as the stops in between are just as good!

I think the important thing about the official PH tour is that it is limited to 15 cars. As soon as you get into the 20's and above in cars, hotels, meals etc become a problem (ask Avril!). Any time between April and September good accomodation / meals has to be booked very early in the year for large numbers and just as many establishments won't cater for coach parties, hoon groups fall into a similar catagory until proven to be otherwise. I'm not trying to pour cold water on the idea, far from it, just trying to point out the practicalities and the reason why PH limits it to 15 cars.

I did a 2 day run a couple of months ago, took in Applecross, up the coast to Cape Wrath, down to Inverness, down by Glenshee then into Perth. About 700 miles and amazing scenery and the roads were very quiet.
