I was looking forward to buying JO11NY C via the DVLA website for a mere 780 bucks today. It went on sale at half 8 this morning........ So tried constantly whereby website was overloaded and couldn't get in.....

First time I was able to get into site at 12pm it was gone!!!

Do you guys think it's a fix? Or I was just unlucky?

A very disappointed JohnyCarrera

Its just luck mate - I got all mine via the DVLA auctions:
Landy S1LRS
Pork S11LRS
Merc S111LRS
but I was looking for S11ERS and S111ERS which were gone by the time I got through!
You could ask OJ... to sell you T055 POT!

Already gone by the time I got there. The owner of an Audi Avant paid over the odds for it..... wink

You will likely have been blocked out by reg transfers and their autodialler system.

It'll be on their site shortly I'd guess at three times the price plus vat and assignment fees.

regtransfers are offering it for £1799 - although that's as a pre-order. £1000 mark-up if they managed to buy it!

So what does it take to set up such a company? - beats working for a living!

Can i be stupid for a minute please?

Would this be for the 993 JC? Surely you couldn't put it on a car of that age? Or is this for the Abarth?

Ah fair enough. Didn't think of letting it rot away/appreciate for a while.

Would be tempted to buy something decidedly rubbish but brand new to put it on though biggrin

On the upside you have saved 25 quid a year retention fee!
No didn't think that would help - sorry mate.
Personally I like the 993 plate - its cool in a johnny type of way.
