Auto Electrician in Edinburgh

Hi Guys

Can anyone please recommend an auto electrician in Edinburgh, preferably with Mk2 Golf experience?

I have bought a 1991 Mk2 Golf GTI 16v which won't start due to an electrical fault. The previous owner made a but if a hash of trying to take out the non factory fit immobiliser.

Any recommendations gratefully received.

Hi,
Im in a simmilar situation but with an Ibiza MK3, I believe it to be an immobiliser prob as the car starts for a second and cuts out.
I regularly use a garage in Kirkaldy but would cost the best part of £100 to get it there so am also looking for anyone local (Edinburgh/Midlothian) who can help please.
