Car Seat Repairs

Appears the mechanism for the height/tilt adjustment is knackered on my drivers seat. Seat will go up, but not down and i came across a piece of plastic which looks part of it.

Any ideas who i could get to look at this instead of taking it to a dealer to be bent over backwards for a "oh yes sir, you need a complete new seat"
