Im 40 in April and Im looking for a motor related holiday - I found out about the Autostadt in Wolfsburg : http://www.autostadt.de/en/home.html has anyone been here ?? Not Porsche I know but could tie this in with a visit to the Porsche Museum - all in put much appreciated - many thanks Barry
Our company designed some of the restaurant and food hall spaces there. Even though I worked on it, I didn’t get to visit myself.
If you think along the lines of a theme park, with a pavilion for each VAG brand, you’ll be on the right lines. I’m not actually sure what goes on inside each pavilion though.
It’s really designed as a new car buying experience, though … the idea being that if you order a VAG car in Germany, you can pay a little extra to collect it from Autostadt and enjoy the day out there.
