Hi all,

Ive been offered an 280kg agricultural tyre which I would be using for strongman type training, but have no real way of picking it up. The tyre is located in Grangemouth at a gym that is closing down, however it needs to be picked up in the next couple days.

Does anybody know how I could pick it up or offer some help to pick it pu which would be very much appreciated and I will re-imburse anybody that does help smile

Where is the tyre going to? I've got a caddy van, but not sure of the payload limit... i'd need to check. Any idea of the dimensions?
What gym is closing down? I own ShipShape in Falkirk.
Kenny.

It would be going to Jewel and Esk College, Milton Road East, Edinburgh. Atm I have no idea of the dimensions but at a rough guess prob between 6-8ft x 2ft. Again no idea which gym is closing :S lol.

I presume you're taking the piss or have you flipped it? That's what you do with the tyre.... never seen worlds strongest man?

I think you will need to borrow a car trailer and just flip it on. No idea what gym is closing.. i thought it was just tone-zone and the 2 council run gyms in Grangemouth. If all else fail, just roll the c#nt along the canal tow path.... can't be much more than 23 miles, just think of the workout!!!

You would struggle to get it over the aqueduct at Linlithgow as it has cobbles on that part of the footpath. hehe

On a more serious note is it not possible for you to hire a luton van for half a day and take a couple of willing volunteers with you to move it?

Kenny, I believe it's the Circuit club at the Complex that's closing down. I've also heard some members have a petition on the go opposing the closure. Not sure on the accuracy of this info, but it came from one of my employees who also occasionally works there...

Not sure if they're the ones with a 280kg tyre to give away - I thought it wasn't really that sort of gym (the one at the Stadium would be more likely).
