I had to pop down to Glasgow for a new passport today. I got caught up in a game of "Avoid the holes that could swallow your car". Quite good fun, but I guess it's very costly if you get it wrong.
The roads in Aberdeen are in a bit of a mess, but they're like a perfect racetrack compared to the ones in SoapDodgerVille.

Its been like the surface of the moon here for years, this year is ridiculous though.

Around our way, Cathcart/ Clarkston Road is absolute 'craterville'.

You know they are deep when you are driving towards them and clearly can see the original cobbled streets at the bottom of the holes eekeekeek

the cobbles would actually be nicer to drive on!

Tried to drive down Nuneaton Street today - its literally like someones lobbed grenades all over it - unbelievably bad!

I managed to avoid (luckily) some manhole covers which must have been at least 4" below the road level. I think it would have been game over if I'd hit one of them.
I always thought it was funny people driving RangeRovers in the city, but this must be one of the few cars that can cope.

Yup, I'm sure my drive from Barrhead to Castlemilk is now twice as long now I have to circumvent the craters.
