Has anyone used him? Any opinions? I want to use him for my 928, and after some very good recommendations I would just like to know if anyone else here uses him?

George is good just make sure you agree what he is doing and a cost He has been known to do other bits while he's there :-)

He fitted a replacement engine to our Z3M coupe a few years back and has serviced it for 4 or 5 years. Not cheap but the work has been fault free, so worth the money all considered. Always has a selection of nice Porsche in too.

Looks like it will go to George once he is back his holidays at the end of the month. Thanks for the info' guys. A stamp in the book from OPC isn't worth anything if it costs an arm and a leg and you are left feeling shafted. I'm not worried about the re-sale value on a 20 year old car, I just want to get to Monaco and back next year.

I've been assured that the latest I'll get it back is Wednesday. After I explained how much I need the car and couldn't live with getting the train everyday, he has made assurances.

Just to finish this off, I'm one happy customer. Work all completed to a very high standard, under budget and great to deal with him. Car has been tested tonight by me and I'm impressed. Cam belt needs checked in 1000 miles and will be going back to George.

I've learned my lesson there, suspension is getting set up next week. I'm also going for the quote for the respray this weekend before all the damage is done the weekend after. After I had the full car airborne that last time, I'll be taking my time on that wee road.
