Nissan GTR

Folks, looking at possibly buying a GTR and hopefully going to get a look over one in the next week or so. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to the things to look for when buying a 2nd hand one of these? Does anyone in the Aberdeen area mind meeting up with me and maybe even taking me for a spin in one?! i know its a long shot!

Ive had a look and 1 car however, it was having the gearbox replaced under Nissan warranty - scared me off a bit. Maybe this has happened with some of the earlier cars?

Any advice and pointers greatly appreciated!!

Talk to Ian @ Licthfields on gearbox upgrades so you'll understand the weak elements in the box and what they can offer if you want piece of mind. One point to watch for is they MUST get serviced every 6 months for the warranty to remain intact - Nobles in Edinburgh is the nearest if you ABZ based.
